Can you describe your career journey and key milestones?

I began my healthcare career as a CNA in long-term care at the age of 17. After 8 years, I took the leap into nursing school, a challenge I tackled while raising three children as a single mother. Following graduation, I joined the float pool at Freeman Hospital to broaden my clinical skills. While I value the experience and versatility I gained in the hospital, I eventually found my way back to my true calling: long-term care. MDS is a newer role for me, but I have truly enjoyed learning the ropes and am so excited to continue building my skills throughout my career.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

My hobbies outside of work include spending time with my family. My husband is my best friend and you can usually catch us cheering on our children on the sidelines of their many sports adventures.
